Don't save your password to your Password Manager
Don't save your password to your browser or Password Manager when certifying and signing. This may override your saved password with your passphrase.
The next time you try to log into Landonline your Password Manager will use your passphrase and not your password, potentially locking you out of Landonline.
You'll then need to reset your password.
Reset your Landonline password
Stop your browser from filling in forms and fields
Browsers, such as Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, are set up to automatically fill in forms and fields with your saved personal data.
That means when you complete fields such as names and email addresses in Landonline your browser may add your details, instead of your clients.

Exit and unlock a dealing
To exit a dealing select the arrow next to the dealing number.
The dealing will now be available for others to edit.
When you log out of the application or close the browser you will automatically exit and unlock any dealing you are currently working on.
Open multiple apps at the same time
Use the app switcher to open multiple Landonline applications at once, such as Dealings and Web Search.
Select the 9-dot icon in the top left corner of the application you have open. The app switcher will appear.
You can:
- Select the application name to open it in the same tab.
- Select the arrow in a circle icon to open the application in a new tab.
Print the Dealing details panel
You can print the Dealing details panel by using your browser’s print function.
Select the 3-dot menu at the top right of your browser window. A drop-down menu will appear. Select Print.
A Print window will appear.
Select your printer, change settings if needed and then select Print.
You can also print by pressing CTRL and P on your keyboard.
Populate your default roles
To quickly populate your default primary contact and conveyancing professional roles select the people icon next to each role.
You can add default conveyancing professionals in My Profile:

Select hyperlinks to open instruments for editing
Selecting an instrument hyperlink anywhere in your dealing will open its Prepare page.
To stay on the page you're on, click anywhere on the row to open a panel. The panel shows for Dealing details, Notice of Change of Ownership or tax statements.
Short Form Tax Statement condenses information
The Short Form is a read-only version, has a condensed layout and shows only the relevant questions and answers. This is useful for repeat customers who are not likely to benefit from the tips and guidance provided in the full Tax Statement.
Select Short from the menu.
Tab between the fields on the Instruments & Roles page
Once you’ve selected your instrument from the Add instrument menu you can use your tab key to move to the next field or button in the Instrument section.
You can also use the tab key to quickly move to the next field or button in the Roles section.
To make a selection from a drop-down menu, press enter on your keyboard before tabbing to the next field.
View PDFs within your web browser
When you open an Instrument preview some browsers are set to automatically download the PDF, rather than allowing you to view them. You can change these settings.
It’s a good idea to speak to your IT department before changing your browser settings.
Change your browser settings in Chrome
- Select the 3-dot menu at the top right of your browser window.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Privacy and security from the lefthand menu.
- Select Site Settings.
- Select Additional content settings. This expands the list of settings.
- Select PDF documents.
- Click on the button next to Open PDFs in Chrome.
- Once adjusted, refresh the browser and try to open the PDF in your browser again.
Change your browser settings in Edge
- Click on the 3-dot menu at the top right of your browser window.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Cookies and site permissions from the lefthand menu.
- Select All permissions.
- Scroll until you find PDF documents. Select PDF documents to open it.
- Toggle off on Always download PDF files.
- Toggle on for PDF view settings.
- Once adjusted, refresh the browser and try to open the PDF in your browser again.
