PositioNZ - Real Time Service
The Toitū Te Whenua PositioNZ Real Time Service (PositioNZ-RT) streams GNSS (including GPS and GLONASS) data in real time. This free service allows users of real-time GNSS equipment to obtain positions in terms of New Zealand Geodetic Datum 2000 (NZGD2000) without having to set up their own base station.

SNAP guidance
SNAP (Survey Network Adjustment Package) is a specialist software programme that is used when working with large or complex survey networks. It can perform a range of tasks including adjusting geodetic control marks, transforming between coordinate systems, and applying deformation models. This page includes guidance and examples to help people use this software.

Horizontal distortion grids
The most accurate method for transforming coordinates between New Zealand Geodetic Datum 1949 (NZGD1949) and New Zealand Geodetic Datum 2000 (NZGD2000) is to use a distortion grid. On this page you can download the distortion grid file and find other information available regarding this horizontal grid transformation.

PositioNZ-PP and CSN Marks
PositioNZ-PP can be used to create a cadastral survey network (CSN) or a geodetic mark in areas where there is no efficient way to connect to the datum. Find out how to add these marks to Landonline before a cadastral survey dataset (CSD) is submitted.
