The Workflow control bar follows the workflow of a survey. Each icon on the Workflow control bar opens up a separate panel. Each of the panels is covered in its own topic, which you can find using the main menu.

To create a survey or work on an existing plan, it helps to understand the Landonline work environment, and how to locate your work.

A surveyor’s reference, the survey purpose and the land district need to be entered before a CSD reference can be allocated and the survey created.

Use the My Work page to remove yourself as an enabled user from a survey, or use the Enable users panel to manage external users and users from your firm.

You can link your captured existing survey marks and boundary points to the corresponding nodes already recorded in Landonline. You can also edit existing Marks, add new Marks or delete Marks.

Creating new (or proposed) parcels requires capturing the textual parcel details, including the parcel appellation, and linking these textual parcel details to the surveyed definition.

In the Vector panel, select the three-dot menu at the end of the row and then select Locate feature. 

You can view all captured irregular lines in the Irregular lines panel, and add and edit relevant data, such as boundary type.

A mark can be deleted by using the Marks panel or Spatial view.

There are 2 types of vector: right line and arc. You can enter vectors sequentially or radially. Right line vectors can also be entered as bearing-only vectors or distance-only vectors. 

Follow the steps to add or remove an existing parcel in Spatial view.

Once you’ve added the existing parcel, you need to add any relevant Estate records. The Estate records reference the Record of Title associated with the existing parcel. 

Select the Schedule / memorandum icon from the Workflow control bar to begin.

You can create packages of certificates for the TA certification for your survey.

You can add, edit or delete a TA certification request.

Captured marks in your survey, already represented in Landonline, must be associated with the existing Landonline mark where they are proven reliable. This association is called linking.

You can automatically link captured marks to existing Landonline marks.

In late 2024 feedback was requested on a proposal to replace static diagram-based survey plans with digitally viewable and interactive survey plans.

Where multiple existing marks are located in close proximity, it may be easier to link captured marks by using Node IDs instead of trying to select the corresponding marks using the mouse.

The CSD header appears on the top left of the page. There are a range of functions you can access from the CSD header.
