Capture the mark details as you would for any other mark. When the mark is linked to the corresponding mark in Landonline the captured details will be retained.
The pre-validation report will warn the user (warning C629) that the mark details differ from that recorded in New Landonline. You should explain these differences in your survey report.
The captured mark details will overwrite the geodetic mark details when the dataset is approved, for your dataset only.
Shortly after the dataset is approved, the LINZ geodetic team will review the updated mark details and if the differences are considered appropriate, they will become permanent for that geodetic mark.
Please note that the geodetic mark details will still appear greyed out and are not editable in Legacy Landonline.
