Background

The Consent Holder was granted a residential standing consent on 24 January 2024 under the increased housing test and non-residential use test.

The standing consent permits the Consent Holder to acquire up to 200 hectares of residential (but not otherwise sensitive) land by 31 January 2027 to be used in up to 15 developments.

This is the second acquisition of land under the standing consent. The land will be developed for a residential subdivision for approximately 80 new residential dwellings.
