The Applicant is a prominent land and forest owner in New Zealand, ultimately owned by a Swiss company.

It is acquiring approximately 286.1855 hectares of land with approximately 245 hectares of pinus radiata. 19 hectares of the forestry was established in 1994 (subject to a forestry right expiring in 2031), 47 hectares was established from 2019-2023 and 179 hectares was established in 2024 and 2025. The Applicant intends to continue using the land for forestry purposes.

Consent was granted as the national interest test was met.
