What is proposed?

The proposal is to make Mount Kirk the official name of a prominent peak rising to 1436m west of Percy Saddle, Turret Range, in Fiordland National Park.

At its hui on 15 September 2025 the Board considered this report on the proposal. The proposal is notified for two months so that the public can make submissions supporting or objecting to the proposed name.
