What was proposed?

The proposals were to alter the official name of a glacier in the northern Olivine Range from Sealey Glacier to Sealy Glacier and approve as official the associated recorded name Sealy Stream, for the stream that flows west from the glacier into Pyke River.

Sealey Glacier was officially altered to Sealy Glacier for a glacier in northern Olivine Range and Sealy Stream was approved as the official name of the stream that flows west from the glacier into Pyke River.

At its hui on 15 September 2025 the Board considered this report on the proposals. The proposals were notified for one month so that the public could make submissions supporting or objecting to the proposed names.
