Nautical Almanac 2026/27 updates

This page will be updated with information from the 2026/27 New Zealand Nautical Almanac when it comes into effect on 1 July 2026.

Our products and services provide the trusted information you need to navigate safely. This includes official nautical charts and publications covering key features such as harbours, ports, tides and currents, navigation lights, and astronomical data.

We regularly update our charts to keep them accurate and reliable. To stay safe, you need to keep your charts up to date by checking the Notices to Mariners on charts.linz.govt.nz.

Notifying a hazard

The mariner community provides important information that goes into Toitū Te Whenua's products and services. To help all mariners stay safe at sea, companies and individuals let us know about any hazards or changes to navigational features on the charts by contacting us to update the Notices to Mariners, or completing a Hydrographic Note.
