Notices to Mariners

LINZ publishes Annual and Fortnightly New Zealand Notices to Mariners (NTMs) to advise mariners of matters affecting navigational safety.

Annual New Zealand Notices to Mariners are standing notices published in the New Zealand Nautical Almanac. Fortnightly notices (New Zealand Notices to Mariners) should be used to correct New Zealand nautical charts.

Announcement – upcoming changes for Notices to Mariners users

In the coming months there will be some changes to the fortnightly Notices to Mariners editions. These include changes to the general layout of the publication. There will be no change to the content itself – these changes are designed to make it easier to find and view the information which is important to you. We will also be changing the day that we send our fortnightly Edition emails to Friday - the same day the Notices to Mariners updates are made available on our website.
