What is proposed?
The proposal is to alter the official place name Skerrets Creek to Skerretts Creek for a small stream that flows from the northern slopes of McKerrow to its confluence with Wainuiomata River in Wainuiomata, east of Wellington.
The Board considered this proposal report at its hui on 8 April 2022. The proposal is notified for one month so that the public can make submissions supporting or objecting to the name being altered.
