This tile set is useful for NZ spatial professionals and can be used for desktop GIS mapping. It is also recommended for web applications when area and distances need to be well represented on the map.

This tile set has coverage of the New Zealand Mainland.

The following definition describes the scale set for LINZ Data Service NZTM2000-supported tile services. This scale set has been created to provide a consistently styled zoom map stack for easier interpretation of mapping between zoom thresholds.
