Requests for TA Certification

Information about requests in Landonline TA Certification, the available request types, and how they should be used.

If you are a Landonline user, you can create requests in Landonline and send them to Toitū Te Whenua LINZ for processing.

Requests are used to send a query to LINZ for matters that require investigation or further work before we can respond. Select the appropriate request type to make sure your request reaches the right team. Available requests for TA Certification users are listed below.

TA Certification request types  

TA Certification users have the following request types available: 

Amalgamation Consultation

Use Amalgamation Consultation to confirm with LINZ whether amalgamation conditions are practicable.

Amend Cadastral Data

Use Amend Cadastral Data to amend errors or omissions found in Landonline Spatial data.

Request Copy

Use Request Copy to obtain a new scan of a historical document (plan, title, field-book, traverse sheet etc).

Survey Information

Use Survey Information for queries about Toitū Te Whenua LINZ Processes, location of records, the Cadastral Survey Rules, and other survey matters.

Titles Correction

Use Titles Correction to advise Toitū Te Whenua LINZ that an amendment may be required to an existing Title.

Use Titles Information to request information about an issue related to titles, amalgamation conditions, resource consents.

What to include in your request

Please provide survey and title references where relevant – however you don’t need to provide copies of documents that are searchable in Landonline.  

You can attach up to 10 images/documents to your request. Attachments must:

  • be either PDF, JPG, or JPEG files
  • have a maximum file size of 10 MB each.
