You can request urgency for a transaction through Landonline.
If we approve your request and grant urgency your transaction will be moved up the queue. We will process it when capacity next becomes available. Normal transaction processing times and criteria still apply.
Requests for urgency will be assessed and a response will be provided within 1 to 2 business days.
What you need to provide for your request
For a request for urgency you need to provide:
- the circumstances requiring urgency
- the significant impact to you or your customer, and why
- any critical dates, and why these are critical
- the transaction reference the request relates to.
Factors we consider for your request
When reviewing your request we consider the impact on you if urgency is not granted. For example, significant financial impacts or compassionate grounds. We also consider:
- the impact on other customers if urgency is granted. For example, time to process, other similar work or if other work is dependent on this.
- our capacity to process the transaction urgently. For example, the complexity of the request, our workloads, availability of people with the needed skillsets.
How to make a request for urgency
All urgency requests for dealing or survey transactions must be submitted by selecting the request type Request for urgency in the Landonline Requests application.
When lodged survey plans and title dealings are linked in Landonline, we will extend any urgency consideration to both parts of the transaction. This means only 1 urgency request is needed.
