Issue 122
This month, find out more about the property tax changes that came into effect on 1 October and our plans to expand the Survey and Title team. We give you an update about CSD processing times and the cause of recent Landonline availability issues. There's a chance, too, to give your views on the PositioNZ network and see what we're doing to enhance our geodetic marks mobile app.
Update on CSD processing times
Our team has worked hard to shorten the time it has been taking to process surveys and over the last month more than 96 percent of surveys have been processed within 10 days.

Landonline availability
Over the last week we had issues with Landonline, which restricted the number of users.
We appreciated your patience over this time and have taken steps to manage this capacity so you shouldn’t have any further disruption.
The issue was with the servers which support the Landonline service, and this limited the number of customers able to use the service at times. It did not pose any risk to the survey and title data held within the Landonline database. We’ve added additional capacity to resolve this problem and will be reviewing our capacity planning to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
New tax information requirements
On 1 October 2015, new tax information requirements for people buying, selling and transferring property in New Zealand came into force. You’ll find information about this on our website. This also includes tax statement forms that can be edited. We’ve created these based on feedback from lawyers and conveyancers.

Have your say on the future of the PositioNZ network
