The rejection review process
Toitū Te Whenua applies an escalation process to requests to review a requisition or rejection.
Your request will be sent to the Property Rights Analyst (PRA) who worked on the dealing.
The Property Rights Analyst will assess the information you present and reconsider the rejection or requisition. If the PRA decides the rejection or rejection was correct, your request will be escalated further.
At each step, Toitū Te Whenua staff are empowered to overturn a rejection or requisition.
If your request is escalated a Property Rights Solicitor (solicitors who advise on Land Registration matters) will review your request. If necessary our entire team of Property Rights Solicitors will review and discuss the rejection.
If the rejection or requisition is upheld, that is Toitū Te Whenua confirms that the rejection or requisition was valid and remains in place, we will provide a full explanation for the rejection or requisition.
