Reasons for decision
The Commissioner of Crown Lands has determined that the proposed activity is one which comes within the provisions of section 66A of the Land Act 1948 and that the terms and conditions specified in the Deed of Variation and original Recreation Permit will minimise any potential adverse effects of the proposed activities.

The Grantee may operate the following activity within the areas described in the Second Schedule:
- Guided day hikes and scenic picnics for a maximum of 5 clients plus 1 guide for an Operational Period between 1 December and 30 April each year for Loche Linnhe pastoral lease.
- Guided day hikes for a maximum of 10 clients plus 1 guide for an Operation Period between 1 September to 31 May each year for Coronet peak and Glencoe pastoral leases.
- Associated helicopter take offs and landings.

The Operational Area is outlined in red on the plans attached being part of the following Pastoral Leases being part of the Grantor’s land:
- Loch Linnhe Station Pastoral Lease (PO230) held in Record of Title OT386/138
- Coronet Peak Pastoral Lease (PO195) held in Record of Title OTA2/1228
- Glencoe pastoral lease (PO144) held in Record of Title 727254
Note: The Operational Area does not include the areas of legal road and marginal strip which are outside the pastoral leases.
