| Background | The consent holder was granted a standing consent on 20 July 2022, which was varied on 11 August 2022, under the increased housing, non-residential use and incidental residential use pathways. The standing consent permits the consent holder to acquire up to 300 hectares of residential (but not otherwise sensitive) land in up to 25 transactions with a maximum of 25 hectares per transaction by 20 July 2027. This is the ninth acquisition of land under the standing consent. The consent holder will develop the land, to create a new retirement village. The current consented development plans include 73 villa units and a 30-bed care building, with an adjoining resident amenity facility. |
