Background

The Consent Holder was granted a residential standing consent under the non-residential use pathway. The standing consent permits the Consent Holder to acquire up to 75 hectares of residential (but not otherwise sensitive) land in up to 10 transactions with a maximum of 15 hectares per transaction by 1 December 2024.

This is the 7th transaction under the standing consent. The Consent Holder acquired approximately 1.35 hectares of land at 597 East Maddisons Road, Rollerston which will be used to build and operate a supermarket and ancillary retail.
