| Background | The Consent Holder is part of the Craigmore Sustainables Group, who specialise in forestry investments in New Zealand. The Consent Holder was granted a standing consent under the special forestry test on 13 October 2023. This permits the Consent Holder to acquire up to 10,000 hectares of land (already used for forestry) in up to 20 transactions by 13 October 2027. This is the second acquisition of land under the standing consent. The Consent Holder intends to continue to use the land for commercial forestry with harvesting expected to commence in approximately 2049. |
