You can search most addresses in New Zealand to find records of what is on a property, and what has been done to a property. For example, measurements of the property, transfers of ownership of the property, mortgages and approval of fencing.
You can also buy an electronic copy of titles, instruments or surveys for most properties.
Anyone can access Land Record Search
Anyone can access Land Record Search. However, some information may be hidden under legislation.
Titles and other records sent to your email
For a small fee Land Record Search will send a PDF of a title, survey or instrument to your email address.
You'll need a credit card or Prezzy card and email address to order records.
