Create, delete or return a survey

You can create a survey and delete it before or after submission, as long as it hasn't been approved. You can also request a survey is returned to you after you have submitted it, as long at it hasn't been approved.

  • Create a new survey

    A surveyor’s reference, the survey purpose and the land district need to be entered before a CSD reference can be allocated and the survey created.
  • Delete a survey dataset before submission

    The delete a dataset before submission functionality is used when you have started your survey, but not submitted it to Toitū Te Whenua LINZ
  • Delete a survey dataset after submission

    The delete a survey dataset functionality is used after a submitted dataset is returned to you by Toitū Te Whenua LINZ either because you have requested its return, or Toitū Te Whenua LINZ has returned it for correction.
  • Return a survey dataset

    The return a survey dataset functionality is used after you have submitted a dataset but before it is approved. You would use this function when you want to amend or delete the dataset.
