A boundary mark is a physical marker that identifies the start of a land boundary or the change in a boundary, especially a change in direction of a boundary.
- A boundary point means a point on a parcel boundary whether marked or unmarked.
- A non-boundary mark is a survey mark that is not on a boundary.
