You can add certify and sign privileges when setting up access for a user to Landonline, or add them after access has been set up.

Change Individual Details form.
Users need to complete the Change Individual's Details form to apply for certify and signing rights:

Before you start
You must complete all fields marked with a red asterisk.
Only change fields you want to make changes to. If a field is not changing leave it blank.
1: Complete the Current Details section.
Enter an email you wish to receive emails about this application in the Email address to receive confirmation field.
Enter your firm's Landonline account name in the Account Name field.
Enter your firm's Landonline code in the Account Code field.
Enter the user's Landonline User ID in the Landonline User ID field.
Enter the name and date of birth of the user applying for certifying and signing rights.
The name must appear exactly as it's shown on the user's proof of identity.
Users who have changed their name since signing up to Landonline need to complete the Change Name section.
2: Select the user access.
Scroll down the page to find the Landonline Usage Details section.
Select the arrow in the Type of user access field to bring up a menu of user access types.
Select the relevant user access.
The Role type field will appear.
Select the arrow to bring up a menu of roles.
Select the relevant role.
3: Select Submit.
Make sure the Landonline User checkbox is checked, and all changes are correct.
Then, select Submit.
You'll be sent an email with Proof of Identity and evidence forms attached.

4: Email supporting evidence.
You'll need to email supporting evidence for signing rights and proof of identity to:
Supporting evidence must be scanned as clear, full colour PDFs and attached to the forms sent to you.
Proof of identity
Users don't have to produce proof of identity if the proof they used for their Landonline access was already certified.
If their proof of identity wasn't certified, or has expired, you'll need to attach their proof of identity to the Proof of Identify form.
Proof of identity may be:
- both sides of a driver's licence
- a passport
- a firearm licence.
Proof should be certified on the Proof of Identity form.
Users who completed the Change Name section will need to complete the attached Proof of identity - name change form and attach proof of the change to the form.
Applicants also need to attach their practising certificate to the Evidence for certify and sign rights form.
Dealing users evidence
Evidence can be 1 of the following:
- Annual Practising Certificate from the New Zealand Law Society
- Annual Practising Certificate from the New Zealand Society of Conveyancers
- Letter of Delegation from the Māori Land Court.
Survey users evidence
Survey users need to provide a copy of their Cadastral Survey Licence from the Cadastral Survey Licencing Board.
5: Check your email for confirmation.
You'll hear from us within 5 working days of you emailing us your supporting evidence.
If we don't receive your evidence withing 10 working days we'll cancel your request and you'll need to apply again.
