You may not always be able to record all required easement information using the Schedule / memorandum functionality in Landonline.
For example:
- Currently, you can’t select certain parcel types for burdened or benefited land. Examples include parcels with No topology in non-unit plan datasets, or Lease parcels.
We recommend you record as much easement information you can using the Landonline Schedule / memorandum functionality. This functionality includes built in parcel and table validations, which improves compliance and reduces errors. Any remaining easement information should then be recorded in a separate, manually prepared schedule/memorandum.
You can attach both the Landonline Schedule / memorandum and a manually prepared schedule/memorandum supporting document to the same dataset. The documents will appear together in your compiled plans as Schedule / Memorandum pages.
Attaching the Landonline Schedule / memorandum won’t overwrite any manually attached schedule/memorandum supporting documents.
Ensure you don’t duplicate easement information between the Landonline Schedule / memorandum and any manually attached schedule/memorandum.
Recommended steps to record easement information
- Record as much easement information as possible in the Landonline Schedule/ memorandum panel.
- Identify any easement information that can't be captured in the panel.
- Record the remaining easement details in a separate manually prepared schedule/memorandum.
- Attach the Landonline Schedule / memorandum.
See Attach completed Schedule / memorandum as supporting document - Attach the manually prepared schedule to Supporting documents, using type Schedule / Memorandum.
